March 13, 2008 The Imagine Indiana Design Team invites you to a Web castEach of the 18 United Methodist districts across Indiana will have one or more sites for those interested in the Imagine Indiana Design Team report released last week and awaiting approval for both North Indiana and South Indiana annual conference sessions later this spring. The 50-page report and a two-page summary are available on the Indiana Area Web site at www.inareaumc.org, click on Imagine Indiana. A live Web cast presentation of the report will be sent over the Internet through the Indiana Area Web site at www.inareaumc.org on Sunday, March 30 from 7 to 8 p.m. EDST. A 15-minute summary of the report will be presented by three members of the Imagine Indiana Design Team. They will be followed by two other members who will answer questions e-mailed to them during the Web cast at ImagineIndiana@InAreaUMC.org. A list of locations where this presentation can be viewed is posted on the area Web site. This program also can be viewed on any computer connected with broadband service to the area Web site making it possible for anyone to view the presentation from a home computer. A tech sheet for host churches and others wishing to view the presentation is available on the Indiana Area Web site at www.inareaumc.org, click on Imagine Indiana. The report is available online as a PDF document file that is downloadable for printing and review. Accompanying the report is a two-page summary of the report. The Imagine Indiana Design Team encourages both clergy and laity to review the document which will be presented at each of the two annual conference sessions. Plan to unite two Indiana conferences to be presented in live Web castMembers of the Imagine Indiana Design Team propose a plan to unite Indiana’s two United Methodist conferences into one new and dynamic annual conference with a priority of resourcing congregations. That plan will summarized during a live Web cast on Sunday, March 30 from 7 to 8 p.m. EDST. This live presentation will begin with a 15-minute summary of the plan followed by 40 minutes of questions and answers e-mailed to the presenters at ImagineIndiana@InAreaUMC.org during the program.
