Thanks for strong message in Together
Thank you so much for the strong message in the September issue of together. It is much needed and will, I hope, be heeded by those who are in a position to help the average UM church-goers understand and believe. I wish I did not have to agree that we have misplaced our Wesleyan identity, not because the organization is so important but because Wesley had an appropriate biblical approach to modern life. A lot of us still need it!
Also, for reasons I can't quite identify, this current issue is particularly effective. The tone, tempo, topics all resonate more than usual. If you are hearing that from several readers, your staff will be puzzling out answers to "Is it us?" or "Is it the reader?" this month.
