Indiana United Methodist Children's Home honors staff members

LEBANON, Ind. - The Indiana United Methodist Children's Home recently honored seven staff members for years of service during the Annual Conference of IARCCA - An Association of Children and Family Services held in Indianapolis. The honored staff represented 135 years of combined service to youth and families in Indiana.

IARCCA member agencies serve children with various emotional and educational difficulties. More than 100 public and private facilities throughout the state make up the organization dedicated to the care of youth. Indiana United Methodist Children's Home is a charter member of IARCCA. The organization was formed more than 50 years ago and continues to provide advocacy for children and families and support to member agencies from across Indiana.

Honored were: Marc Oliver and Leo Flannelly for 30 years of service; Meta Rudy and Ed Lawton, both 20 years; Brian Kavanaugh, 15 years and Robert Conrad and Stacey Youngblood for 10 years of service

Indiana United Methodist Children's Home is a residential treatment facility for emotionally troubled youth and serves an average of 165 boys and girls and their families each year from across the state. The Children's Home has provided services to children and families in need for more than 90 years.
