Bishop announces Lenten services, 'Our Life Together' days
Bishop Mike Coyner has announced the following dates for Lenten services and for "Our Life Together" days so clergy can list these important events on their calendars.
The North Indiana Conference will hold the Lenten Service for clergy at First UMC, 103 Franklin St. in Valparaiso on Tuesday, Feb. 27. The South Indiana Conference will hold the Lenten Service for clergy at Saint Mark's UMC, 100 North Highway 46 Bypass in Bloomington on Thursday, March 1. Both services will not be pre-Lent services, because many pastors and the bishop will be in the Holy Land during Ash Wednesday.
Dates of the "Our Life Together" days for clergy will be Monday, April 16 for North Indiana clergy at First United Methodist Church, 110 North Cass St. in Wabash on Monday, April 16, and on Tuesday, April 17 for South Indiana Conference clergy tentatively set for Saint Mark's UMC, 100 North Highway 46 Bypass in Bloomington.
