Uindy professor named VP of national music association
Jo Ann Domb, professor and chair of the Department of Music at the United Methodist-related University of Indianapolis, has been appointed vice president pro tempore of the National Association of Schools of Music, to serve through the group's annual meeting in November. The National Association of Schools of Music is the specialized accrediting organization for higher education institutions, with more than 600 institutional members.
An eastside Indianapolis resident, she recently completed two three-year elected terms as the association's secretary. Domb and her husband are members of Chapel Hill UMC in Indianapolis. He is the organist and directs choirs and handbells. She sings in the chancel choir and plays handbells.
