CBS-TV specials continue with Religion and Culture series
'Sacred Spaces: More than Just Steel and Stone' to air June 19
NEW YORK - Part Two of the CBS's Religion and Culture series is scheduled to air Sunday, June 19. Following last month's program, "Abraham's Children: Reuniting an Old Family," CBS-TV will air "Sacred Spaces: More than Just Steel and Stone" nationwide.
This program will explore the interior life of churches, temples and mosques, revealing how such religious sites are used for the sacred rituals of their faith, while also serving many basic human needs such as medical care, shelter and basic education.
Call your local CBS-TV affiliate and request the station to broadcast this optional program in your area. Check you local listing for date and time.
CBS-TV plans to release two more additions to the Religion and Culture series before the end of the year. They include: "Grief and Faith Community Responses: At Major Tragedies or Personal Loss" is scheduled to air on Sunday, Sept. 25, and "Tsunami Relief: A Year Later" is scheduled for Dec. 11.
CBS-TV also has scheduled A Christmas Eve Liturgical Special for December 24.
