University offers non-credit courses online

Subjects include fitness, arts, language, careers, finance and more.

INDIANAPOLIS - By popular demand, the School for Adult Learning at the University of Indianapolis is now offering affordable non-credit courses via the Internet.

The online offerings cover a broad range of subjects for individuals seeking new, personal and business skills. Current topics include Computer/Internet, Digital Photography, Foreign Languages, Art History, Fitness, Family and Personal Enrichment, Personal Finance, Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Grant Writing and Career Development. A complete catalog of courses is available online at www.ed2go.com/uindy.

The instructor-facilitated courses are informative, fun, convenient and highly interactive. Each course runs for six weeks with new lessons posted each Wednesday and Friday, so participation can take place anytime, from the home or office. The courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links and more. All courses require Internet and e-mail access, using either the Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers.

The University of Indianapolis School for Adult Learning allows adults to earn college degrees in an accelerated format. Its Supervisory Institute and Leadership/Management Institute have served the training and developmental needs of the greater Indianapolis community for more than 50 years.

For more information on any of the programs offered by the School for Adult Learning, call 317-788-3393 or visit http://sal.uindy.edu.
