VIM has new insurance carrier
The Mission Volunteers program area of the United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries has a new insurance company for 2004 - the Federal Insurance Company of the Chubb Group. The cost of accidental insurance remains at 65 cents per person per day with similar coverage, except for a new $250 deductible.
Download and print the insurance application form and explanation of coverage by going to gbgm-umc.org/vim/insuform.htm.
Any teams leaving the U.S. needs to carry this coverage that includes emergency medical evacuation and repatriation. For information about leading mission work teams, plan to attend the Team Leader Training March 6 at Rochester Grace UMC. The North Indiana Conference Board of Global Ministries is sponsoring this training.
