CTS offers interfaith classes for laity

INDIANAPOLIS - A special series of four-evening classes will be offered by Christian Theological Seminary this fall as part of its "Faith Learning Initiative." Six classes are being offered in each four-week session. The second session begins the week of Oct. 18.

"These classes were designed by lay people for lay people of all faiths," said Dr. Carolyn Higginbotham, vice-president and academic dean. "They were created to help people explore various faith traditions and learn more about their neighbors of different faiths in an environment that encourages mutual respect."

Classes run for four weeks and are taught by local religious leaders and experts. Registration for each course is $45 - or $40 for students and retirees. The fee is fully refundable after the first class if registrants decide not to continue. All classes are held at the seminary, 1000 West 42nd St. in Indianapolis. Additional information is available at 317-931-4224 or e-mail LifeEd@cts.edu.
