How should we as Christians relate
to our Muslim neighbors today?

I would say
with an attempt to understand and accept their beliefs and position. We are
all seeking the same God, but have a different way of getting there. |

I would say
with love and try to get to understand them and their religion. To treat
them as neighbors and show the same respect as with any other neighbors. |

I think we should relate to Muslims.
It is important that we look at them as persons seeking God. We need to
find ways to live peaceably with them, and try to understand them more
fully. And be willing to share our faith.

I work with several Muslim high school students each
day. However, during class I am focused on the teaching task at hand.
I try to respect all persons as children of God. I must remember to pray
for them as well as myself.

As far as
being around Muslims, treat them as we treat anybody else. They are probably
as strong in their beliefs as we are. Listen to their point of view as well
as asking them to respect ours. We are not supposed to be judgmental. If you
listen to people who believe in the Koran, they are taught to not be
judgmental either. We need to have a non-judgmental approach. |
